Respectfully, I I am going to compare them for the remainder of the post. I purchased it due to the nostalgia and similarities alone, though I had no idea they were so close - minus double jumps and spears. As a matter of fact, I watched the video, and thought to myself, noooo, i cant be, really, and by god it was. I now understand the reference to old school arcades int he games description, especially hard ones. In the moment, I simply can't ignore the plagiaristic design, and although I NEVER post in the forums, I find myself tangentially rambling on about the similarities. I Alt+tabbed out to post my thoughts here however, on the same note, I have to admit I have not played beyond the first level. I was so shocked by the blatant reproduction in design that I expected waterfalls, and Holy crap. Climb out and encounter waterfalls, its déjà-vu in a ten dollar 2013 package. Walk forward, killing guys in identical fashions, and there is a spot on the ground - in almost the exact same location and requires a down-ward thrust to break, where you'll find a power up and two airborne enemies - just like RASTAN. Jumping closes the difference (minus the double jump here). You swing the sword so closely related, but here you carry it lowered, in rastan, upwards like the original Arnold Conan movies.
Rastan starts on the flat surface, same as this game. Don't believe me, grab MAME, and find RASTAN - A rocking good, tough as nails, kick your ♥♥♥ and you'll come back and love every minute of it, old school coin-op arcade game.Īfter the fall, and it begins.

The First level is practically identical, in both land features, structure, design, spacing, and layout. This bares an inarguable, and UNCANNY resemblence.
